This is a guide to give you as a Sysnet potential customer, clear instructions on completing ‘Self Assessments’ for preliminary costing and installation planning.
Attached is APPENDIX A, the General Overview for ALL Assessments – Assessment Guidelines - and APPENDIX B – LAMP/BULB IDENTIFIER.
The Identifier Sheet is at the heart of the assessment:
- LOOK at the bulb
- WRITE the information down FILL IN the blanks (i.e. wattage, height, usage, etc)
use the last page of this document label CUSTOMER EXISTING LIGHTING COUNT SHEET.
The information in that document will be repeated several times in the outline that follows. Before starting an Assessment there are three critical items that must be understood and followed through.
#1 - be sure to get a clear understanding of ‘The Day Before Call to Property’ section in
APPENDIX A and provide ALL information for each item.
#2 - be sure to get a clear understanding of ‘Day of the Assessment’ section in APPENDIX A to do what is asked and provide ALL information for each item.
#3 – be sure to get a clear understanding of ‘Tools and Equipment to Take to the Site’ section in APPENDIX A to provide what is asked for and use ALL safety items as indicated – i.e.
“Safety glasses” – are required to handle or inspect any and all bulbs – voltage meter is required to test for voltage and NOT assume, camera is required to take pictures of lamps that may not be exampled in APPENDIX B, etc.
